What's the Difference Between Ombre Brows and Microblade Brows

Ombre brows are a semi-permanent eyebrow styling technique that creates a soft-shaded brow pencil look. This incredible technique, first developed in Asia, has been around for decades and has been slowly improving over the years. Ombre brows give great definition & depth to the eyebrows. It is recommended for women with oily skin. This is an ideal method for brow corrections/cover-ups, total reshaping, or improving symmetry, but ultimately for those who like a more complete fuller eyebrow.

What is the Difference between Ombre Powder Brows & Microblading?

The biggest difference between the two semi-permanent eyebrow styling techniques is how the pigment is deposited into the skin. Microblading uses a handheld tool to carve small cuts into the skin, whereas ombre brows are done using a machine. The ombre powder technique is less invasive than microblading.

Main Benefits of Ombre Powder Brows

Ombre powder brows are great for any skin type, unlike microblading, which may not work well on oily-skinned beauties.
Your eyebrow will look fuller and more defined.
Ombre brows last longer than microbladed brows, usually up to 5 years.
The ombre powder technique is less invasive than microblading.
Also, this semi-permanent eyebrow styling technique is less painful than microblading.

How to Prep For the Procedure?

Before your ombre powder brows session, it is important that you don’t drink caffeine at least 48 hours prior to the procedure. Also, avoid Aspirin, Ibuprofen, or other natural blood thinners. Finally, avoid any facials at least two weeks before the procedure.

Would like to come for consultation for ombré brows. I almost have no eye brows hair and feel tired of drawing them every morning! Had a tattoo over 21 years ago. I take warfarin daily as I have two mechanical hear valves. Wonder if you use natural products. I’ll check with my cardio if I need to take antibiotics before the procedure, in case we agree on it. Thanks.
